Bayanat Geographical Consulting provides numerous survey and GIS services to its clients all over the Sultanate of Oman. The GIS services rendered by BGC allow for the accurate survey data, visualization of geographic data, analysis of spatial relationships, and efficient data management. The GIS data conversions allow data from different sources to be merged in one common format, which allows for easy access, analysis and utilization. The vast expertise and experience allows BGC to integrate GIS, CAD and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) services, by using high accuracy survey tools, high-end GIS Mapping and GIS data conversions software. BGC provides GIS services with an all-inclusive solution for spatial data management to government and industrial organizations through GIS remote sensing services. BGC's complex GIS Mapping Services and GIS Remote Sensing services include capturing, storing, integrating, manipulating, analyzing, and displaying data related to positions on the Earth's surface. BGC uses updated technology, research and innovation that are implemented by highly experienced and qualified staff to create maps. BGC's team of engineers, geo-scientists, planners have developed GIS products and systems, integrated with GPS, GIS, and CAD. The services can be used for system design and architecture, management and maintenance, map production and analysis (specialized for GIS mapping agencies also), database design and development, user training and support, and 3d modelling and visualization for GIS mapping products and GIS remote sensing products.

Oman Society of Contractors

The Contractors' community established the Oman Society of Contractors (OSC) in 2007 under the Ministerial Decision No. (38/2007) issued by the Ministry of Social Development which falls under the royal decree (14/2000). OSC represents the interest of its members and helps in addressing the varied challenges facing the construction industry. It achieves this through a process of engagement, dialogue and stakeholders' alignment. OSC aspires to elevate industry standards by driving specific agendas in four key focus areas:

National Survey Authority

National Survey Authority of Sultanate of Oman has played a crucial role in designing the topographic maps and other tasks related to data, information, services and expertise. The National Survey Authority is committed to furthering geospatial technology for the nation building. It is its mission to optimize the use of geospatial information through communication, coordination and collaboration; and its vision is to take a leadership role in the provision of user focused, cost effective, and reliable, quality geospatial information for meeting sustainable national development. NSA has a full range of map production capabilities and it is willing to advise on all matters regarding topographic mapping and will endeavor to assist where possible in the provision of maps, data, information, services and expertise. NSA has recently launched strategic National level projects to improve the quality and accuracy of Geospatial Data and provide its customers with updated information both in digital and Hard copy form. These projects are the establishment of Oman National Continuous Operating Reference Stations Network (OMANCORSNET), the establishment of Oman National Geoid Model (OMANGEOID), the production of Topo50k & Topo100k Mapping, the preparation of Oman Geospatial Manual (OGM), and the production of Oman Road Atlas which was launched by NSA in October 2016.

Geospatial Media and Communications is an internationally accredited knowledge organisation, having committed itself to serve stakeholders of geospatial community and work towards opening a new era of industrialisation and productisation, while facilitating collaboration and demonstrating value and benefits of geospatial technology and information for governance, businesses and people. Geospatial Media acheives this objective by undertaking domain specific market research and consultancy work, publishing online, print and digital content and organising national and international thematic conferences.

The German University of Technology

The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) is an Omani private university located in Halban. GUtech was founded in 2006 through a collaborative agreement between Omani founders and RWTH Aachen University in Germany. GUtech focuses on providing undergraduate and graduate programmes of the highest quality in accordance with the curricula and quality standards modelled on RWTH Aachen University. Currently, GUtech offers a diverse range of programmes through its 4 faculties:

An unprecedented achievement was realized when GUtech got all its Bachelor degree programmes internationally accredited by ACQUIN, a non-profit agency committed to supporting the enhancement of quality standards in teaching and learning in higher education worldwide. This reflects the international standards GUtech degrees are modelled on and supports the university's vision towards becoming a leading university of technology in Oman and the wider region. Most importantly, ACQUIN accreditation paves the way to GUtech students to pursue post graduate studies abroad and demonstrates the high caliber of GUtech graduates in the international job market. As of December 2016, more than 260 had successfully graduated from GUtech. Currently, more than 1600 students from 32 nationalities are enrolled in different programmes.

GUtech has grown in both size and stature over the past ten years. The University has positioned itself as a leading private university fostering highest standards in teaching, learning, and research. GUtech campus is the first Green Campus in Oman that was awarded the best corporate building in such category in 2013.

GUtech main building includes, an amphitheater, lecture halls, laboratories, a library, and sports halls among others.
